saw peter bjorn and john tonight.  it was pretty much swoon, swoon, a little more swoon and some seriously amazing rock and roll.  peter admitted that their goal was to get into the rock and role hall of fame... relevant because we are in cleveland.  i think they are on the right track.  they are such great musicians and absolutely incredible performers.  unfortunately my polaroids didn't come out too great but they aren't terrible.

 summer has wrapped itself all up and so i thought i would post a few random portraits and self-portraits from the summer that never got posted. 

and here is a sneak peak at my newest piece... it's kind of awful timing that the imagery is a hurricane/tornado but lets keep in mind that i'm using it as a metaphor.  speaking of irene... hope everyone is keeping safe!  and for those of you who are about to start back at school like me, have a good first day!

most exciting this week was my best trash picking find ever.  some silly person through out this original robert lyons mid-century modern print manufactured by the franklin picture company.  it's such a cool find and it goes so well in my apartment!

we looked around the historic hotel and played around in the wind

 and we rented a golf-cart!  i've never been in one before
