tell me what would be so wrong

these are steph's images from the better in mentor carnival.  they are so dreamy.  the girl in the green is me and the girl in the black is ari.  

 i like to think that we are looking across the fairground at each other here.

 i turned 21 on monday.  haven't done much special yet because of all my studio and academic work  but i don't really mind.  i'm so into school right now and i can't wait to show you my latest work!

also i am seeing ty segall tonight, one of my favorite post-punk fuzzy garage 1960's throwback rock bands.  can't wait!

too late too slow

also last weekend i went to a carnival called "better in mentor."  it was pretty great.  i think the girls and i must have looked like lunatics though because we were just running frantically around snapping zillions of pictures that we needed for school.  but i'm super happy with the images i got... i will be using them for my photo transfer process onto ceramics.  it's a pretty complex process and it has its faults but i'll be sure to show you how it turns out!

eyes on fire

took a zillion pictures at ingenuity last night... a festival in cleveland held under the detroit superior bridge.  it is such a cool space to explore.  it feels so other worldly.

 plus they have super fun activities like a doodle bar.

 and a gummy worm bar.

 and lots of really great installation and performance art.

 and carnival food.

plus my good friend's band Me played.  they play fast rock and roll and we did the twist.
