these are taken with my new color shade push film from the impossible project. they didn't come out as bright as i'd hoped but i knew that would happen because of the distance. but this was once my favorite buildings in cleveland. you see it driving in and out of the city across the cuyahoga and they are taring it down to make room for a new bridge or something stupid. there were loads of people gathering around in the flats taking pictures and grumbling about how awful the whole thing is.

i feel ok
this is just the most adorable idea ever. i found them in the vintage store in durham i used to work at. the owner is always discovering lovely little local artists to feature.

you turn around and you don't know where you've been
my lovely durham farmer's market. it's one of my favorite things to do when i come home. today i had a wonderful brunch at my favorite french restaurant, vin rouge, and later my parents and i are going to see cave of forgotten dreams. i can't wait!

from noon until noon again
i hadn't checked out the matt and nat site in ages and these caught my eye. they've been my favorite bag designer for ages now. everything they do is eco friendly and vegan. plus they're super gorgeous.

i was so tired, i didn't notice you there
my newest creative endeavor
i'm embroidering "blow me" on vintage hankies
funny!
and this sofa is my new baby... i rescued her from a nursing home where she was sure to be thrown away. she is most likely from the 1930's and i love her so much!
i leave for a visit back to north carolina in two days. it's a trip sure to be full of good food, baseball games and sweaty southern weather.

if i fell in love with you, would you promise to be true?
what i've been up to lately...
drinking coffee
spending time outdoors
going to fun outdoor festivals
my lovely friend steph took all these photographs. she is a photography major at school with me.
i'd love to hear about your favorite summer activities.
