hadn't been to work in a while so of course i had to do some shopping.  i showed them to mom and she said "more summer dresses!"  whatevs mother dearest, they are awesome.

julie and i had a weekday sleepover last night... i woke her up with my camera.

school has been mad intense what with me being in calc, then trying to drop calc, then staying in calc, and taking my first calc quiz.  i guess i'll just have to see how it goes.

worked at dolly's tonight and on the way home i was in the weirdest mood.  maybe it was all the stress or maybe it was just driving in the opposite direction of a train which always trips me out while listening to mgmt or maybe it was seeing a poodle with it's legs hanging out of the drivers door of a car next to a motorcyclist with a red bandanna tied around his face covering everything except his eyes.  nevertheless, i felt strange.  like everything was fitting together but that i was unhappy because i couldn't realize it or live it...?

the first day of school was yesterday.  and already i am feeling swamped.  ap calc may possibly be the worst decision of my life.  plus my parents are out of town...and i'll be honest, i want my mommy.  good thing she comes back home tonight and seems to have gotten things with my grandma sorted out.  plus i did make it through one whole french class without speaking english and therefore didn't have to sing i'm a little teapot.

today was the last day of summer.  i spent my time finishing my ap english paper, doing my last 5 hours of summer service hours at nasher, and then having a whole foods picnic at duke gardens with j.  despite the blurry nature of these pictures i really like them.  they kind of capture the way summer feels.
