can i fall awake now?

so while doing my laundry today i realized that all of my socks have holes in them and therefore i decided it was time to take a trip down my steps to my next door neighbor, american apparel and treat myself. these are the styles i picked out.

in other news, today it was in the 70s here in cleveland and completely blissful and this weekend i am traveling home to durham to see the raveonettes who just released a new album.

talk about true romance

at school this week we had a visiting artist come and i have fallen in love with his work. his name is merek cecula and he literally changed my outlook completely on the work that i do.

everyday i wake up and i thank the stars above

i'm sending another letter to NYLON. they published the one i sent way back in september of 2006 and so i think it's high time that i yet again let them know how much i love them.

this set is more of a non-functional set all about the material of the clay.







i'm really excited about where these two sets are going to go from here.

some things i'm wanting right now

some flats because i can only think of spring, some danskos because i always want danskos, some jeans because i am sick of all my super skinny jeans, i want some boot cut or straight legs that i can role up a bit, and the new adele album as well as jenny and johnny and shannon and the clams all on vinyl.

i've got one more final critique left today and then i'll basically be on spring break! too bad it isn't spring here yet. not even close. but i am so looking forward to catching up on some important work outside of school and poking around town doing things i never have time to do.
